Oheka Castle

Hey~~ I am going to look at Oheka Castle tonight does anyone have any info? I heard that it is expensive but not sure what to excpect. I am interetsed in a Sat for 125 people.

I was in a wedding party there. It's incredible! You have the whole castle to yourself. It really looks like a castle so you'll feel like a princess. The bad news is that it's one of, if not THE most expensive sites on LI. Up there with the Garden City Hotel.

We looked recently. We were quoted $210 pp for a Saturday night in March guaranteeing 225 people. It's beautiful, and you wouldn't have to worry about a thing if you booked there. Just too expensive for us.

ETA: plus a site fee of $7500, plus tax and service charge

I was at a wedding there - it's amazing and the food is great!

Oheka is absolutely gorgeous, but off the charts beyond my price range! For a Saturday evening wedding you can expect to pay upwards of $200 a person, probably more. A few brides on LIW are lucky enough to be getting married there, however!

I know somone who is getting married there. All the girls are right about the price range...200++/a person and there is a site fee. Also there probably will be a higher guarantee for a Saturday night. I went to see the place and it is beautiful. They are building another room to fit more people. I went about a 2 months ago and they hadn't completed it yet.
