I know Oheka seems to be one of the reception place of choice except for the cost - can anyone tell me just how expensive it is? Is it comparable to Carltun? I'm trying to get an idea compared to what we are paying for a Saturday night wedding at the Atlantica in June....Thanks!

I'm getting married there on November 18 of this year. I'm paying $5000 for the site fee and 160pp on a Friday night with a 100 person minimum. Not TOO bad!!

Do not be upset. I honestly thing it IS worth the money. I went there in May for a friends wedding and it was so breathtaking and gorgeous. I LOVE Oheka - it was beautiful adn teh service was just great
I wish i could have had my wedding there - i did spend my wedding night there though!

it is over 300 to 350 a person. The carlton is like 200 a person. depending on the time of year and of course Friday or sat or sunday

Oheka was a little too pricey for us, but we were quoted really high. I'm a little upset that I didn't look into it further. It's a beautiful place. I was quoted 10-15K site fee and 300-500pp plus tax & gratuity with a 200 person min. that is for May 06. I wonder why I was quoted so high compared to everybody else?
So, i didn't even go look because that was way out of my ballpark. (I'm coming from out of state so i called to get quotes as to not waste anybody's time)
Everybody has their own tastes and what they spend is relative to what's important to them. As long as you are happy with your place, that is all that matters.
