oheka showcase
ok so i was going to wait to post this til i uploaded pics but im probably going to forget stuff...
was it worth the $25 pp??? well...i would say yes if you are planning on getting married there or are getting married there...other than that i dont know if its necessary. i mean its a good trip if you want to check out the place just for fun and see the rooms and taste some of the food.
i mean they did have tons of stations and passed stuff..asian, pasta, italian, seafood, risotto, and then one with like beef/potatoes, fish, and like a knish thing. for the passed stuff...from what we saw...this raw tuna thing, smoked salmon, a lobster roll, chicken and mango bite, 'sesame' chicken - but not like the chinese food kind.
to drink - red wine, pink chapagne, juice/soda/water and then they had a fancy table of perrier flavored and such and pelligrino...i think that's it.
as for the vendors...if ure going to showcases to look at vendors u can pretty much see a bunch of these elsewhere...a bunch were the oheka recommended vendors. central park orchestra was there but we're not booking with them so we didnt stay for the performance. in the CH room they had mme entertainment set up the room with lighting and like different types of furniture stuff...and they had a photo booth in the room...which now i realize i no longer want at the wedding even though i thought it was a fun idea
i thought the cakes they displayed were very elaborate.
my favorite part - checking out all the rooms! some of them are soooo ridiculously huge. and im reallllllllly super excited about the bridal and groom suites that we get. i love them. hahaha and im excited cuz we get a jacuzzi tub too
the funniest part of this whole thing - fh and i are going to be on liw tv because we got interviewed in the bridal suite. we probably will look ridiculous but it was fun.
