Choose your wedding date??

Any specific reasons (anniversary, holiday weekend, etc)?? or was it the ONLY one left available in your fave month??

well FH has a daughter in school and she lives out of state .. so he requested june or july so she wouldn't miss any school ... so i didn't mind and after pricing places .. july is cheaper than june .. i didn't want the end of july to many birthdays so i thought the night before July 4th would be cute ...so we wnet for it

October was my first choice but there wasn't much left . So we moved it to November and at that point it seemed like a good idea to have it on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

I dont like the heat at all, and I dont like the winter. I also wanted an off month for the price. So once I decided on March I then wanted as close to Spring without paying for a spring month.

We always wanted to get married in October. We chose the 12th because it is the day after our dating anniversary day/date - the 11th (our anniversary is January 11). We really wanted October 11, but it is a Thursday.

well, there's 2 reasons.

it worked well with timing with FH's schedule (graduation from med school and starting
residency), plus...

it's the time we got engaged... 6:27 = 6/2/07... cheesy yes, but kind of sentimental - it was FH's idea

Our actual anniversary is January 31st and we picked June 30th because it was the closest to our anniversary date and being that I'm a teacher we wanted to do it over the summer.

our engagement party is pretty much the same theroy too, cept this year , obviously,,

I am an occupational therapist working in a school. I had to pick something with time off after so we can go on our honeymoon. Originally had Feb 16 for pricing reasons. FMIL freaked out about possible snow and offered to pay the difference ($5,000). I like the possibility of having an outdoor wedding. We lucked out!
