YUP!!! Our PreCana dates are the next two Fridays and they happen to be when the Yankees play BOSTON!!!
I'm not happy but I have to laugh it off. If it was the D-Rays or the Royals or something, he'd probably let it go. But maaaan he can't be happy right now.

So funny you said this. Our pre-cana was on Super Bowl Sunday. FH literally freaked out and said we would have to cancel. I said absolutely not since the next class wouldn't be to right before the wedding. Anyway I guess a couple of people complained and it was moved to the following Sunday.

I feel your pain. At least your wedding is not the day of the Giants/Jets game. If the Mets and/or Yankees make it into the playoffs, those games could be my day too. YIKES!!!!

Too funny, we're getting married the same weekend! And he booked the late dinner on our cruise ship, I said won't we miss the playoff games??!?!?!?! He immediately changed it!

this reminds me of a story i read a year or 2 ago about a group of guys who petitioned the boston archdiocese because opening day at fenway park was on a friday before the end of lent and they wanted an exception so they could eat a hot dog!
maybe you can check the score on your cell phone?

Awww...maybe it doesn't take up the whole game and you can catch the end of it. Also they do play them multiple times so missing two of the games while it stinks isn't the end of the world.
