Hi ladies...yes, once again im looking for help with wording. Since i was so successful with a little poem for the sign in mat sign...i figured id try this out for size. My future mother in law is having invites printed up by a machine in hallmark for our rehearsal/dinner and she was looking for some help wording the invite...for example...she is going to tell everyone to meet at the reception hall (thats where we're having our ceremony) at a given time and date and that dinner will follow at a certain restaurant. Anyone with creative ideas...other than DATE: TIME: Be there or be square...Thanks..LOL..Stacey 6-30-01

Here's what I am using for our rehearsal dinner invites. It’s the night before the wedding. All the planning is finally done. There’s some time to spend with family and friends Before the bride and groom become one. Please join us at a rehearsal dinner honoring blank and blank. And then all the date, time, place stuff at the bottom. Just a suggestion: GOOD LUCK!

Another Creative Idea...
Hi StaceyJoy! I love the one Stef suggested, I wish we had thought of that! What we did to make our invites interesting was to connect them to the site instead of the wording... So, our rehearsal luncheon was at Benihana's in Manhassett. Chip and I asked Benihana's for enough chopsticks for each guest, which they kindly gave us. Then one of my maid's of honor and I created little 2x2 squares on sheer vellum that gave the time for the church rehearsal and the time for luncheon and all the important stuff. They were written in a font called Wonton. Then we made one hole in the chopstick wrapper and the vellum square and attached them with little ribbon bows. Then we mailed them in padded envelopes!!! Everyone loved them and they were a real hit!!! It was easy and costs nothing!! Just an idea!! Good Luck and Enjoy!!! It is soooo much fun!!!! Ayanna

I love it!
That is such a cute idea. Maybe I'll do something like that instead of what the poem I wrote above. My rehearsal dinner is at a german restaurant. Great idea Ayanna! And congrats on being a wife!Welcome New Vendors
