We met at a Red Cross blood drive the first time. He got woozy and I gave him my cookie and orange juice. He says he tried to get my number but was sort of out of it and I remember thinking what a cool guy (despite the wimpy almost faint) Thought about him occasionally (and he told me he did too) but no idea who until several years later we were set up by friends and recognized each other. Fate.

We went to HS together (although we didn't talk), he was a year older than me and had a girlfriend all throughout high school. He was (well, still is)my brothers best friend and I always considered him my brothers really cute friend, when he broke up with his ex we all started hanging out in one big group and the rest is history!

FH was my friends roomate. Met him thought he was cute by friend forbid me to date his roomate... Fast foward a few months I was going to a wedding where my ex's frat brother was going to be..he reports everythings I do to the ex... I refused to go alone and the bride was below her minimum so I asked my friend... he couldn't go so he told me to take his roomate. We both thought it was a cool idea.. Went on a double date with the friend and some chic on V-day (the week before the wedding to get to know each other). It was the best date of my life and we have bee together ever since. By our third date I told my friends I was going to marry him!

We lived in the same college dorm freshman year but never met (or never realized it). Fast forward to senior year...we took a french class together, became friends but i had the hugest crush on him-was too shy to say anything. A year after graduation, he moved to DC to pursue politics while I was on long island and really really missed him-(we had remained good friends after graduation). I felt like the hugest part of my life was missing. Well I went to visit him for a New Years party in DC-and two days later, after I was back in NY, feeling miserable..he called to tell me he was in love with me. We started dating and i moved to be with him 6 months later. We were engaged after dating for a year and a half...but i feel like i have known him forever :)

We met at my sorority crush party - where every girl invites two guys - he was not my crush - i just went to get drunk with friends -so don't remebr actually meeting him and dancing with him - but as i sobered up i- i remeber we had a really long talk as we walked throught the snow in April -
Oh it turned out he lived directly above me in my building and i never knew who he was

WE MET AT A HIGHSCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME I WAS A SENIOR AND HE WAS OUT OF SCHOOL BUT TAKING LIL SIS TO SEE THE GAME AND HE CAUGHT MY EYE AS SOON AS HE WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE BUT I THOUGHT THE GIRL HE WAS WALKING WITH(HIS SIS) WAS HIS GIRL BECAUSE I NEVER SEEN HER(9TH GRADER). IT TURNED OUT THAT WE KNEW EACH OTHER HE HAD REMEMBERED ME FROM AN ART CLASS WE HAD TOGETHER 3YRS BEFORE I DIDN'T REMEMBER HIM CAUSE HE CHANGED HE USED TO WEAR BIG GLASSES AND WAS SHORT AND SKINNY. HE STOPPED ME ON MY WAY OUT AND SAID YOU CAN'T SAY HI I'M LIKE I DON'T KNOW YOU AND SO THAT'S WHEN HE TOLD ME I'M LIKE DAMN YOU'VE CHANGED HE WAS NOW TALL AND LOOKING REALLY GOOD THE REST IS HISTORY.

We were both in the same bowling league and hadn't really noticed eachother (our bowling league was huge, taking up the whole bowling alley) and then we bowled against eachother and we hit it off right away. It was love at first strike (That was corny even for me! )

Oh, by the way, let me tell an interesting story involved with our first meeting. All the way back in middle school, my grade went on a field trip to Washington and stopped in a mall there. I went to a palm reader booth and she read my palm and told me 'around the time of your 20th birthday, you will meet the man you are going to marry. His first initial will be 'J'.' For some reason, it always stuck with me. That week at the bowling alley, was a month before my 20th birthday. We hit it off so well and when he went up to bowl (because it only says initials on the screen), I saw the 'J' and I instantly knew. As weird and freaky as it was, the palm reader was right.
Sorry to write a novel. I just wanted to share that!
