ok, i need help for my mom

..my mom has been widowed for 5 years now, she is 46 yrs old and is just starting to get back into the 'dating scene' i was curious if any1 knows of any websites or things she can get involved in either in real life or on the web, we just got her a new computer and she always hears me talking about how great LIW is b/c we always have great convos and do fun things..now she feels very weird coming onto LIW cause its more of my 'turf' lol so i was trying to find some forums or websites for her to join, not even dating stuff just to 'meet' different pple, male or female...does any1 have any suggestions, im trying to get info on that parents w/o partners program. thanks! :)

Supposedly eharmony is supposed to be good for the older, more mature crowd.

Why doesnt she try match.com

They have all different age groups on there. I know it works, because Danielle and I met on there.

This is a little random, but when I was looking at apartments in Port Washington, the apartment manager of one complex ran these events called 'Power Singles.' They were for middle aged people and there was also one for the 55+ crowd too.

I know you said it doesn't have to be dating related, but do you think she might be interested in 8-minute dating? It looks like so much fun. I've never tried it for obvious reasons, but I totally would've. And they have all different age groups and categories...
