so...here it is.

ok so here's the color chart for invitation paper. I'm going to order samples.

hey I wanna have fun w SOMETHING.

My flowers will be oranges.

i'm thinking tuscan sun or apricot.

wanna play? any idea? I'm doing a card, not pocket-folds so they'll have a mat behind them.

I need 3 layers. do I do 3 colors?

Basically its a panel card w a mat mounted to it and the printed invite on top of it.

this is for an oct wedding. I'm ordering samples bc I'm having a graphic designer at my job help me design them.

so...this is what I came up with.

champagne invitation on top of a milk chocolate mat (which is like a border) on top of an antique gold or copper backer board.

Oooo i think the champange invite with milk choc and antique gold would be pretty!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds pretty, good choice with the champagne as the top layer so you can see the typing.

How are you having them designed? I love the fall leaves look! Are you thinking about incorporating something like that?

a graphic designer at work is going to help me. I haven't decided on the design at all. I'm just trying to get an idea so I can order samples of the paper and cardstock. I don't want to pay a fortune for colors that I know I'm going to ditch.

I totally see why no one is playing this on the 2011 board, I'm still staring at the color samples!
