Something weird happened.... Dad's lips are NUMB... He will go to the doctor today and find out what is wrong...
I hope nothing bad... I could NOT imagine if something happens to my daddy...
I am scared that it could turn to like 'Brain Hemorrahge' because His dad/brother/uncle Died from it....
I am positive that its nothing like that, But still I am scared....

I really hope he gets better
But something is not right...it is just not possible to have Bells Palsy with only lip numbness
Bells Palsy affects the facial nerve, which controls the muscles in the face. In order to have Bells Palsy your face muscles must be affected....makes sense right?
The facial nerve in our face controls all the muscles in the side of our face- eyes, cheeks, lips, etc. so most people can't blink, cant smile, cant frown, etc normally does not cause numbness alone, causes paralysis and definitely not only in one portion of the face, since the nerve controls the entire side of the face.
I'm not trying to be annoying or pushy...but I had to say something, mainly bc i want to make sure your father gets the correct care

Im an RN and I have to agree with Lovey.... If it was bells palsey his whole lip wouldn't be numb either.... it would only be one side and would effect more of the face. I'm not a doctor though so I could be wrong but the meds they probably put him on are steriods which can't really hurt him so I'll pray for him that it is bells palsey bc it will go away then and that the steriods help!!
