ok NOW im upset

i go to blowdry my hair.. and the motor on the effin blow dryer sounded weak. im like greattt.. so i go to unplug it..and it smelled like fire. the 2 plug teeth thingies were STUCK in the extension cord and i yanked it out..they were completely burntt


my bedroom smells like fire.

i called fh..hes like wow... no luck with electronics lately. its ok if the place burns down, we're insured.

im like dude..fk the place! im worred about my hair!!


i gues the windows will be down this morning on my drive to my job.

your not suppose to use household extension cords with any blow dryers, hair irons, kitchen appliance, air conditioners & vacuum cleaners. for those types of items you have to use those bright orange ones that you see on construction sites. (it all depends on the voltage)

those household extension cords should be used for televisions, media centers, portable fans.

& surge protectors should be used for computers.

edited to add:
after the kitchen wall went on fire because of an old AC & at the same time my sister started an electrical fire in her outlet due to having her iron plugged into an extension cord, my dad freaked & tossed all the extension cords into the garbage.

Well look at it this way... at least your gorgeous hair didn't light on fire!
(i've had that happen)
