Ok should i panic

OK so i was sitting in tux place and the guy asked me color of my dress i said diamond white because this is what i was told when i tried it on. so he put FH in a diamond white shirt. i was just curious and had to be sure for my self so i called the dress place and they told me that it is actually ivory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i said are you sure i ordered the exact one that was in the store.. and they said yes we know that is very pale ivory. should i be nervous. should i panic... im so scared. i love my dress i hope they didnt screw up. It comes in Jan 17th.

i wouldn't panic just yet.... many, many designers have differernt ideas of what colors are. . . . my dress is a diamond white, but the veil that actually matches best with it is called ivory. each designer has a different color palette, if you will. as long as the shop understands (and it seems that they do) they you wanted the specific color (whatver it's name might be) that you tried on, i think you'll be fine!

What color does your receipt for the dress say? If they said they ordered you ivory and the sample you tried on was ivory then I think you should be ok.

don't panic! Pale ivory may very well mean diamond white.
Each designer has a different idea of what a color is.
You have to look at it and see it...can you get over there asap to ease your mind? OR, ask the saleswoman a description? OR, go to the designer's web site and find the color on there?
I am sure it is going to be ok....and if not you still have PLENTY of time to have them make the switch.

my dress is ivory, and it looks white to me...

it should say what what ordered on your contract.

DON'T PANIC!!!! Diamond white IS VERY similiar to ivory!! White is REALLY white, then Diamond White, then Ivory, then Champagne, etc....Don't worry!!! Each designer is different in calling it what they want. Diamond White is NOT the BRIGHT white, it's the next color! Hope this helps!!

I would not panic yet!!!
Designers have different colors for their dresses, Ive seen ivory dresses that look gold and diamond white dresses that are ivory and vice versa....wait until you get your dress.
Do you have the invoice that has your dress measurements,etc. on it? Check and see what color they put down

I would not panic at all. Diamond white and a light ivory are very similar in color. My dress is ivory and my veil is diamond white. I'm having my FH and ushers in ivory shirts though.
