Ok, so found out my GGUncle was from Long Island, and

That is really cool - Oyster Bay is cool. They have a huge oyster festival every year. I live at least an hour from there - fh & I are in Port Jefferson but I have friends there.

Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With my family genealogy being partly from Long Island, and Debi marrying a Long Islander, my curiosity about Long Island is really growing!!!! I want to come back and see all the areas my family was associated with!!!!!!!!! I can't help it, I'm a history lover!!!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB
