OK so I was gone and now I back with no money Vent

OK so I have been away from the boards for a while because I have been feeling like I am drowning.

OK so I got my taxes done finally and although the number wasn't exactly what I had hoped for it was still enough to cover most of the expenses left plus get me started with flowers.

OK well the acct calls and sas I am being audited and my check being held because my sons father claimed my son as well behind my back.

I call him up and say what is wrong with you? You knew I was claiming him and you know I am getting married in 7 weeks

He says 'Oh well too bad sux for you!

He did it on purpose because he knew the money would get tied up and I would get scr3wed!

Obviously he cannot come to terms with the fact that I am getting married

So now I hve to figure out where to get the money from for the vendors I already have booked

And flowers I have no idea what to do now

omg i am SO sorry!!! did they say how long it will take to do everything? i'm sure it will work out and i'm sure you're vendors will give you a break and give you an extra week or two give them payments! good luck!

I am so sorry your dealing with this.. You should kick him in the teeth for putting you through this.

Can I ask what your divorce or custody agreement states??? My divorce agreement is every other year and unfortunately this was not my year when I needed it most!!! If you have an agreement I would fight him on this. I am soooo sorry he is doing this to you some men are such a$$holes!!!

as for flowers,if u r having trouble with the money maybe we can come up with something diffrent,make a candle cp?there r many beautiful cps that have no flowers..and then have bo-ks made through a local florist....i know its not what u had in mind at first butit cxan be done and done beautifully...i hope it all works out..keep us posted and let me know anything i can do to help u out

That is horrible! Especially since your wedding is so close.

If you have an agreement, and it specifically states in that agreement that you are entitled to taking the child, then you have no worries with the audit. Other than the fact that your check is being held up.

If that is the case, I'd be a real B**CH after the wedding and see if you have a case for him falsifying a tax return. That would show him.

It kills me how people are SOOO obvious with their behavior. He's like a little boy who didn't get what he wanted. That, and he, is absolutely pathetic. I am so sorry you are going through this.

The good news: you win. You are away from him, and he is clearly desperate to have you back. Well, in his own words, sux to be him. I can't believe a grown man could be so childish.

I have a suggestion- I have thought about this MANY times myself. I used to live in Brooklyn, and they have those side-of-the-street shops with the most AMAZING flowers you have EVER seen. Are you getting married during the day, or at night? The reason I ask is that, is it possible you can send someone out there (or to Costco, where I hear they are nice, but I have never seen them), and get bunches of roses? I'm not kidding, a dozen roses is about 14 dollars, and they are EXQUISITE- and I am a flower *****. I have a MILLION clear glass vases that I would be happy to give to you, and I'm sure other girls on here do as well. I think that a dozen roses on each table would be outrageous, and you would have gotten the deal of the century. Also, it would be very easy to cut yourself a gorgeous bouquet. If you're getting married in the morning, you can do it the night before, and if you're getting married at night, you can do it during the day. (actually, someone else can do it for you. You'll be busy!) If you're getting married on the 10th of April, it may be cool enough outside so you can keep them in a garage or even outside so they stay fresh. I'd be happy to do all of this for you, but I'll be on my honeymoon. I'm serious, too- I love to screw a guy over who screwed over someone else.

He is disgusting for what he did. You win on all counts.

It might sound like a silly suggestion, but I'm telling you, I've seen these flowers, and they are absolutely insane, and I've thought of doing this myself. It would save you thousands, and they would be stunning.

My sons father did this too me the 1st yr I left him. I got a letter in the mail about it but, it wasnt against me. they just wanted to let me know. Also if he lives with you he has no claim on him. The IRS are still trying to get their money back from his father, never mind me getting CS.
