yeah you know what?

If you get pregnant right away - people will say you should have waited

but if you wait, people will ask why you arent pregnant yet! you just cant win!!

so - if you guys are ready GO FOR IT!

as for us we are planning a '2nd honeymoon' for our one year anniversary (( we couldnt decide on a HM so i got to choose st lucia for our actual HM and then we are going to the keys for HIS HM lol)) and we are also saving for a house soooo we are using the one year anniversary as our excuse to wait kind of. . . but you know what - i was a 'mistake' and sometimes, as in MY family, the best kids are the mistakes!!

Deciding when to start TTC is a personal choice. My recommendation is to talk to your OB/GYN about it. There are things you should do to prepare that should best be discussed with an MD.

As soon as we get married we are going to let nature take its course! If it happens, it happens

FH will be 32 and I'll be 27 when we're married, he wants one right away, but I'd rather wait a year. Considering I won't be getting off my BC pills, I think I'll be getting my way!

I feel like pregnancy is one of things you can't 'plan.' you can plan on when you want to start trying, but you never knwo what could happen. i say if you both feel you are ready, then you are... and who knows you might have one right away, or it might take you awhile, a year or more.... i say go for it.

Made in Italy is cute!!!

Well, we got married in June - I was 32 and he was 42 (I just turned 33 in Nov, he'll be 43 on Dec 31) - he was married before and has 2 kids already...

I was dying to have kids right away, but we decided to wait. We knew we wouldn't have money to buy a house even if we saved, but at least we would have money to be comfortable...

I couldn't go on our HM til August, and in between, I got pregnant - so, the best laid plans...

But, I am glad it worked this way - it was a wonderful surprise, and the whole stress of planning was obviously taken out of the picture. We are doing everything we can to prepare financially.

someone told me 'Every baby brings its own luck' and its true!

DH got a new job that pays well, we found a new home to live in that is cheaper than the rent we pay now, and its 3 bdrms... And I know things will continue to go in the right direction....

If you are ready, then great- but if you aren't, you will have no choice but be ready anyway... Do what works for you!!!!
