Ok so these RSVP's.....

are driving me nuts. Why is it so hard to just send it back. I received so many calls about how beautiful our invitations are, but THAT'S IT! Lol. Also a little nervous because some of them are just being received now and I sent them out on Oct. 1st. Uggghhhh!

Yes! Thank you Jesus! However FMIL gave me 3 wrong addresses so I have to print out 3 more but have to print from my end the envelopes. I won't be able to use the digital Caligraphy but I will try to use the nicest font. Why is it so hard to receive an invitation, look at your calendar to see if you're available and then send the RSVP out. Ugghhhh! By the way, awesome job with your lecture at the baby shower. Now try to remember who you spoke with and see if they listened. Hahahahahaha! What I don't understand is those with the correct addresses why they just received them if I sent them out on Oct. 1st? By the way, from those that rsvp'ed we have 40 in attendance out of 150.

Lol. That is so how I feel when I come home and have no RSVP but a message on my voicemail of how lovely the invitations are. Smh! Just send back the damn RSVP. The best is when we get back an invitation because FMIL gave us the wrong address. That is my favorite!!! I believe we had to resend 4 so far. Oh joy!

Lmao. Love it! Keep me posted how things are going.59 and counting on our end :) What's so weird is I sent them out in the 1st and five people reached out to me the next day saying they received it. Yesterday, FH received to call about just getting out invitation. Why the delay?

Love that your FH requested them to send their RSVP anyway. Love it! Did you mention on your RSVP about no children. When my FH brother got married, they told people there were no children but the family felt it did not apply to them because they are family. Sooooooo when we did our invitation we stated on our RSVP that it was an adult ceremony and reception and children under the age of 21 are not allowed. That was the nicer version. FH had something else in mind. His was funny only because I get his humor, but I knew others might not. So we went down the safe route. Lol. Oh by the way, received another returned invitation because of the incorrect address. I finally lost it and said, 'Doesn't your cousin know where her children live? Ugghhhh!'

We went back and forth about putting it on the invites but I know pretty much the handful that will ask or just put a different number on the rsvp so I have no problem calling them and saying, nope no kids sorry... And that's so annoying and such a waste of stamps when they get returned. We had one of his cousins call two days before we were sending them and said we moved here's our new address. We took the invite and put it in a bigger envelope and hand wrote the new address and sent it out. Ahhhhh the drama and stress

Good for you guys. Standing your ground but being cordial and pleasant about it. FH and I agreed from here on any returned invites we are doing just the same - big envelope with returned invite placed inside and mail away. Although I ordered the extra envelopes and card stock I'm going to use the extras for next year and recycle them and make Christmas ornaments. :) I purchased a Charlie Brown tree so I will decorate with 2-3 of my recycled invitations. Hahahaha!
