I taugh first for 2 years... Do you like ctt? I don't think im going to like it?

I haven't taught CTT, but it is hard to work with someone else. You bump heads because your teaching styles are different. You really have to be able to learn to give and take.

My 1st offical day isn't until next Monday. Tomorrow is a faculty meeting and Thursday my HR comes in. This is my 7th yr teaching. This yr I have Span 4, Span 2H and Span 1 which means I have all yr levels! (high school)

Yes it is, thank you!!! I hopethey lay off this year. I can't take the stress anymore.

The year after I got tenured was so good. I felt so relaxed and confident and it made my teaching better b/c I wasn't worrying about every little thing. What district are you in. You can fm if you want

LOL!!!! I know. It's soooo funny because when I first started the seniors we only 2 yrs younger than me!!!!! I graduated college a yr early!
But it's crazy seeing some of the kids out at bars. It's like...hey your not old enough to be here...mean while they are already 21!!!

I taught a CTT last year and it was pretty good. My lower ' Target' kids were MUCH worse then them- academically and behaviorally. I am doing it again this year. Hopefully it will be as good.

No, its the kids, especially in a behavioral class that I teach

that's what i tell my teachers
when i was in the classroom, i had kids that i heard horror stories about
but its how you treat them and when they feel like you genuinely care about them they dont want to disappoint you

i love my kids
all 886 of them
