OK-Weddings off! Anyone looking to have a party June 1st NRC will be open
Original post by LuckyMe
Well I did what I could with no help from DH at all. So without going crazy. I have called everyone in the BP already and told them and offered to pay for their gowns. I let my family know. I have also left a message at the NRC and DJ as well as called the limo company who may let my daughter use the contract for a car for her prom. Does anyone know if the NRC will sue me for the balance being that my wedding was in 3months? Im sooooo humiliated, embarassed and just crushed for more reasons then the finances. I had alot more written but deceided to erase it only because without knowing me personally I dont think you'd understand where Im coming from and I would only seem mean and bitter. I can say that this has opened my eyes to alot of things and right now I have no intention on moving the date for the fifth time. Im done and just need to recoupe. I have 5 gowns I have to pay for and my wedding gown which Im sure should be in soon for what should've been my first fitting. Thank You all for your advice, help and just lending an ear through my 4yrs. of membership on LIW and I wish you all the best and happiness with your weddings and futures. UPDATE ON THE BOTTOM*****

I'm just adding my 2 cents here, but first I want to say I'm really sorry your going through this. I've been there, done that w/ my ex. He was not abusive but he was sooo irresponsible and I couldn't see myself having a good life w/ this man the way he was.
I was like you, going to school, we had 2 children, and I worked and maintained the home. The day I found the courage to leave was the absolute best thing I ever did. I'm not saying that's what's right for you but you really need to think about the quality of life your going to have. Me, personally, I couldn't do it.
I look at how hard my husband works and I thank God everyday that I made that move.
Good Luck to you!!!
