Please tell me I don't look like a snow-beast! The veil is poofier than it should be because it been folded up in a box since June...
I also did a hair trial today but you can barely tell because I forced her to do the curls way too loose because I'm paranoid about having those too-perfect shirley temple curls.
But, the fitting went well. I am having the neckline changed to a contessa neckline (what you see in the pics) because the original neckline is just a plain scoop and I felt too covered up.
They have to take in everything! The arms the waist, darts, shoulders... so as you can imagine, I reached my cap I was hoping I'd get off easy on the alterations because I noticed that I didn't need a hem.
Is the slip/crinoline poofy enough or should I go bigger??

That dress is so different (in a good way) that not many can pull it off but I think it looks amazing on you, like it was made for you.!!! Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful! It all works so well together (dress, veil, hair, etc).
I do think maybe a little bigger slip ... just seems to me it should be totally princess, you know?

I looked at your pictures again tday to reconsider the crinoline isse. I think it looks great the way it is. However, if you added more pouf, it would give it more of that Elizabethan ( I think that's the right period, I'm not sure) ball kind of look. It depends if you are goign all themed out & want it to looked liek a period dress/costume or if you jsut want to paay hoamge to that style, and style have the base of a moddern wedding dress. Does that makes any sense at all?
But it already makes your waste look tiny, so you're all good with the important stuff
And Felicia's right, it looks so natural on you, more so than the model picture!
