Okay, now for the bridesmaids....

I need to start looking for bridesmaid dresses really soon but I am wondering if any of you ladies have been in a similar situation. Two of my bridesmaids don't like each other at all. Friend #1 doesn't make a big deal out of it, if she sees the other she still tries to be nice anyway. Friend #2 is the type that if she knows I am hanging out with #1 she will not show up at all. This worries me because I would like them all to be together at some point. It is not that I care really that much, but it does add up to additional stress I really do not need. To me, it is immature high school b.s. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation, if so, how did you get through it? I am getting so aggravated that I am thinking of just going bridesmaid shopping with my sister, MOH. My strategy right now has just been to ignore any petty comments made.

I would sit them down together and tell them its my day, get over it for this or step down from being a BM.

Same advise as Nora, if they can't put aside their differences for your wedding, they are not your friends.

Thanks ladies!!! First of all, I know my friends are loyal enough to do whatever I say. I just cannot stand the bitterness and stupidity! Why can't we all just get along?

Yes, it happened to me but they were pretty civil to each other when it came to actually talking at the shower!

I have a very similar situation. Two of BM don't like each other. I have asked both of them nicely if they can sort of just get over it for me for just this once and after they can resume there normal
'I hate you' stuff.
So far they have both aggreed and seem to be playing 'nice'. We will see how everything goes because there is still lots more time till the wedding and one of them could let loose and hit the other so we will see!
