Hi girls I was just wondering if anyone would be an estimate price for hair and makeup with oksana and jen for wedding i need both of their srvice for 2 days back to back and its for me and my mom ..I have really long hair and my mom has short hair...does jen do extensions?...does anyone know if they will do discounts since i need them for 2 day?..TIA sue

i guess if i'm going to pay approximately $1500 for hair and make-up (i'm paying for everyone) on one vendor, i would like them to kiss my a^&*(&(* a little and at the very least a courtesy one liner back. but i guess it's just me. everyone feels differenlty on this.

i guess so because they get lots of weddings and wedding parties and dont really need to kiss anyone's a$$ - or im sure they would hope that people would have so me understanding -

I dont excect any of my vendors to kiss hiney...just be good at what you do and respectful and caring.....and Jenn and Oksana are all of the above and beyond!!

dont you think its a bit much to excpect anyone to be at your 'beck and call' I mean I want my vendors to do amazing on my day but thats a bit much.......I have to totally give Jenn and oksana credit for being if you gave them a chance exactly what you want ....caring , compassionate and willing to go that extra mile to make your day beautiful and everything you have ever wanted ......

look, i'm paying a lot of money for this wedding...and if i don't get a call or a return one line email saying, sorry, been extremely busy...one day after (unless the person is on vaca or i know the person on a personal level), then they do not deserve my money. sorry. that's just the way business works. i would NEVER OPERATE A BUSINESS LIKE THAT in my life and i would expect other to show the SAME RESPECT

ETA: and i have aol just like she does so i know exaclty when she read it. if you have time to read it, you have time to send a one sentence email back.

In all due respect and this is my opinion.

Vendors are busy...especially in the summer months. Every weekend they are most likely doing a wedding and during the week trials (if makeup and hair).

And I emailed Oskana about 2 or 3 weeks ago and she responded about 4 days after...unfortunately she is booked on my wedding day. But she was so kind and I even told her I would refer her to my friend who is engaged because I think she is such a great makeup artist as well as a nice person.

And Jen I did not email because I know I wont have 3-5 girls to get their hair done. She does amazing work though. But I mean it is kinda rude to expect these vendors to get back to you that day or two later...they do have lives and are human and have other brides as well who want their services...

Give them some credit ...

ive contacted some of the vendors on here that are constantly RAVED about, and was also turned off for one reason or another. you have every right to be annoyed by the way someone conducts business, and voice that opinion. taking a week to give a one line response would be unacceptable to me as well.

SHE IS SICK...I am sure you wouldnt be returning calls, emails or going to work if you were sick with a stomach flu

and like Kelly said- i want them to do a wonderful job on my wedding and when i see their services i will have confidence in them that they will make that happen. It isnt that she doesnt have time and energy she is sick. Oh and they didnt take on a 1500$ client cause obviously she is not going to book with them now!!!!

I agree that this is their job. But I think you should give her some time. I mean she is sick and when yuo are out of work and sick at home I am sure you dont return WORK phone calls or emails....

I agree that this is their job. But I think you should give her some time. I mean she is sick and when yuo are out of work and sick at home I am sure you dont return WORK phone calls or emails....

actually, i return work calls and email even when i'm on vacation. when you work for clients or for jobs that have deadlines, you have to make sure you are there. if i dont' get a motion in time in court and tell them, sorry i was sick, they would laugh in my face and kick me out. there are certain things in business you need to take care of....when you have a business you have to know how to run it. that's all.

yes unfortunately she lost out on 1500$ that is true. but she might have had a person coming in to do a trial and wasnt sure if she was going to book for the wedding date that diamonpa has...so maybe she really isnt losing out...
