you can go w/her and not participate. I did that w/a friend once. I waited by the bar. We ended up having a fun time; all the singles were hanging out at the bar afterwards socailizing. I was getting hit on even though i didn't participate AND i was wearing my E-RIng! LOL!
ETA: Wait; is she single and looking or are you both attached but she just wants to pretend your both single?

As long as my FH was ok it with, i would go...but, i would wear a wig and make up a whole new persona! Instead of a brown haired 25 year old doctor.....i would prob be something like a blond artist, strugling to make it in the big city....maybe throw in some werid **** about my 'past' to make the guy feel werid lol.

my sister said she was going to do that and my reponse was oh can i go with you and oh boy if looks could kill fh said no. I just wanted to see what it was it seems like a fun thing i didnt say i was going to participate
