Its probably a good idea so they can do a ekg. However, the symptoms you described are also associated with anxiety and panic attacks.

I'm really praying it's just my nerves, panic/anxiety!!

PLEASE see a doctor. and be very specific about what you are feeling & when. I had a minor heart 'incident' a couple of years ago & the emergency room Dr. was a jerk & said...'oh honey, it's just stress..you need to relax.' He refused to do blood work or anything to check my platelet (sp?) counts or anything. A few days later when I went to a cardiologist, they found that I do have Mitral Valve Displacia (sp?) and that the tests to show if I had a heart attck were 'inconclusive'

A few days later when I went to a cardiologist, they found that I do have Mitral Valve Displacia (sp?) and that the tests to show if I had a heart attck were 'inconclusive'

You had a classic panic attack. I get them on a weekly basis. If you ever need to talk, FM me. I will help ya.


Heart Attack symptoms are almost exactly the same as a panic attack. I cant tell you how many times I have run to the ER, and everything has been fine.

Let us know how you are feeling and what the doctor said.
