This is horrible, they have also evacuated many buildings and schools...Not to mention that as of now my train is suspended, so uhmmm i hope the train will work by the time i get out lol

Well someone has to pick me up if trains dont work soon...I work in Jersey city so i need to take the path, not like i can just walk down and take a different train or something ya know.

OK well, Major Bloomberg just gave a conference. It looks like there was a small leak at Bleeker and 6th Ave.

Small gas leak, that spreads across half of manhattan and jersey...At least they should be honest and say someone messed up big time and made a HUGE mistake.

Today's my first day back to office in 3 weeks, I'm in lower Manhattan. I should've stayed home.

Theres no way that leak was so small... It reached all the way up to where I am...

Thats exactly what i was saying in one of these threads somewhere lol...I mean at least say hey someone messed up big time and its a big gas leak...A small gas leak, ok that would mean the block can smell it or up to a few blocks down. At least be honest, i hate when they lie

You girls that work in the city- I would leave and hightail it home. I'm sorry, but after 9-11 you never know what you can be inhaling. They said the air was safe then and now there are tons of workers getting sick. Take the day off.

yes...I work at empire state so I'm right in the middle of it....smells yuck-o but its fine. Not harmful
