Yesterday we went to pay off the balance of our honeymoon. As you are aware, we had a honeymoon registry...and we did pretty darn good. Now..we get there and we see a list (which we wouldn't normally see until the day of the wedding when each person who donated gives us a card w/another card in it saying they donated to our honeymoon). ! I couldn't believe it!! One person gave us $1k!!! It wasn't our mothers, or his father...but a friend of his family. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I was so touched! In total we were given about $4k!!! So we didn't have that much of a balance left. Isn't that fantastic?
