OK, I have officially joined the DIY board-- FH and I went to look at invites & for the ones we wanted it was anywhere from $1900 - $2800--- HOLY CRAP!!! We are definately making our own!! Anyone know how much it may cost? We want to do pocket folds-- and where can we buy the supplies?? Thanks for any advice!!:

wow, they did you go??? I never heard people spend so much money on Invites.. I think you should look around more.. but here is the answer to you question, If you want to take a trip to the city, there is a store called 'Paper Access' , they sell paper and envelopes and many other things. It is on 18th St. and 6 Ave You can also order from http://paperpresentation.com/

you can go to staples or office max and get invites with response cards and envelopes for $25-$50 depending on the kit. Then you just print what you want on them from your computer. I got a set for my e-party invites and they are really cute. i would try there! I got a box of 50 for $20 on sale.

I did buy paper online for my eparty invites-- but I wanted to do something different for our wedding- I love the pocket fold invites-- I just don'twant to get into the DIY aspect of it if it is going to end up costing more in the long run!!

I got my pocketfolds from www.cardsandpockets.com and the paper from ac moores...definately works out cheaper if you DIY....especially if you decide ot print it yourself.

Ditto. I got the supplies from Cardsandpockets.com and the paper fh got online somewhere. From start to finish we will spend under $300 for 150 invites.

Mine are costing 150 between invites and supplies, though time will be long to do them. I am making pocket folds.
LCIpaper.com has great bulk invites to buy that are already made and you print them on your own.

I bought mine from notfromabox. com....pretty cheap and they come in any color and size you want. And everything comes seperately so you buy only what you need..we bought the pocketfolds and outer envelopes from them... Very nice and quick shipment!

Also you can have the invites printed up. Like by exclusively weddings (super cheap invites) and put them in a pocket of your choice. Or buy pockets and print them yourself. I believe for 80-90 I paying about 200 for everything.
