OMG ! it poured yesterday in Bayshore...

Yesterday was my bridal shower and I had the time of my life...my mom gave me the most amazing shower at Captain Bills. I was besides myself.

I got everything!! every appliance I wanted, my bedding, sheets, lingerie lol, a big screen tv, best buy gift cards - it was unbelievable I never expected so much!


On the low side, my mother in law couldn't be there and at exactly 4:00, I got a phone call from the hospital that her cancer spread everywhere and it should only be a few more weeks.

My FH and I have decided to get married this Saturday with our immediate family, and the to renew our vows on November 10th. Even though, in our eyes nov. 10th will always be our day-- this saturday is more for his mother and him....but I am so happy to be doing it.

She told me that I am her angel and that I desere everything I get, and she single handedly would have chosen me for her son! Talk about making a girl cry lol

And my prayers are with you and DH and your family. we found out last year that my stepmom had cancer, she was only given 8months. I told my dad we would move up the ceremony (we still had over a year from our original date) and he said he didn't want to. She passed away this march. I know it's going to be hard when we get married. He told me the other night that he was sorry that she didn't get to see us get married and I told him it wasn't his fault, he replied with 'well, I just hope I made the right decision' (meaning to not move the wedding up. Broke my heart. Lots of prayers to you and I'm glad you will get to have your private ceremony.

i think that is such a wonderful thing you are doing to get married so she can be there. the one thing i want in this world is for my FH to have his parents at the wedding , they both passed away, one to cancer also. sorry to hear , please take care of your FH , he will need you!!!

We filmed everything, and my fmil couldn't watch it b/c she saw us crying and she said, 'I love my girls so much why did this happen to my poor girls'

my fsil also gave me her wedding jewlery that her mom bought her for her wedding - me, my mom, fsil and fmil went together and picked it out- it was an extremely emotional moment but a memory i'll never forget.
