OMG!!!!!!!! My sister-in-law wants to start trying for her 3rd child in a few months. Will she make it to my wedding???

I'm getting married next August. She's going to be in my wedding party to boot. This is my FH's sister. She's not really concerned about the wedding. If she doesn't get pregnant until the later part of this year, she could run right into our wedding????????????????????????????????? Wouldn't she be upset if she missed her brother's wedding???????????????????? I almost feel like she's doing this on purpose because the attention is on us now and not her. She is like that. My FH gets so mad.

Need some feedback, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, calm down.

She is not doing this on purpose and hopefully she'll make your wedding. But she can't stop her life just for the wedding, right. It would be unfair.

And from my understanding, unless she'll be delivering within two weeks of your wedding day or so, she can still come, no?

I had the SAME situation. My SIL gave birth 2 weeks before my wedding & all was fine! She attented, after having a C-Section & all & her parents brought the baby to church & watched him at home for the reception.

My MOH was 6 months prego at my wedding & she looked gorgeous!

don't worry about it. If it happens, it happens. People can't plan their life around your wedding. Its unlikely that it will coincide perfectly with the wedding and cause her to not be there. If she gets pregnant soon, the baby will be born way before the wedding. Why worry about something you can't control and may not happen?

It doesn't take away from your day. My SIL was pregnant at our wedding (only a month) and didn't tell anyone till afterwards since she didn't want to take away our attention. When I found out weeks later, I was thinking she could have told everyone. People are capable of being excited about more than one event at a time.

I hear what you are all saying and will take a step back and give her the benefit of the doubt and compromise for her. However, as my FH always says, 'My sister is a B----'. Of course we don't expect anyone to work around our wedding especially for something like this, but we don't need the stress that she'll be sure to create. She's not happy unless she's turning things upside down. Stay tuned and watch!!!!

Do we have the same FSIL? LOL For once in my life, I would like to be self-absorbed! No, in all seriousnes, I wouldn't mind if she were pregnant at my wedding but, I would pray that the baby not be born on our day. Because our day would be 'our day' for the rest of our lives, and I don't want to share it!!

she is trying to do it before your wedding...

personally I would not let someones wedding plan when I was having a child...

people are PG and new moms at weddings all the time...

its hard to think that your wedding isn't the most important thing in everyone's life (b/c in yours it is), but when you start thinking that way...people will make more sense...

Even if she was doing it to upset you, why let her do it? Your wedding day is yours, and it works both ways: it belongs to you, and the other people lives' can't stop because of it. If she makes it to the BP, great! if not, believe me, there are always last minute things that we can't control but that anyway don't spoil our big day. good luck!

I hear your aggravation, my sister and she is also my Matron of honor has been trying to get preganant, and is know on the trail of infertilty specialists, Fh and I are upset that the whole family will be putting the attention on her at our wedding if she is pregnant. I am having her get an Emme brand dress, which is cut larger, and I am going to try to understate it at the wedding, I have calmed down a little , but I am also still aggravated about this also. Of you need to talk, feel free to FM mail me.
