I laughed at her hair too..I said to FH, how can she manage 15 kids and that hair, I have long hair and no kids and I hate it..

I kinda felt bad that each kid did not or could not with that many get the attention it needs, but thats my opinion, I cant judge her, who knows maybe they are better for being in such a large family. I think 15 is way too much though for each to feel special.

I too was glued to the tube. I really can't believe living with 14 other siblings, but it seems like they had a good grasp of their life. I think they dressed 'Amish' to save money. I think she said all the girls wear white socks, the boys black, so they all probably share, hand down as much as possible and probably make some of their clothing to save. I couldn't figure out exactly what the father did work wise, besides his terms as a state congressman. Maybe he owns his own business--with the size of their new house, maybe he's a builder.

Anyway, I'm an only child, think it was perfect, and have told FI that 2 is our MAXIMUM! Have a great day ladies!

I watched it. It was intresting I remember hearing this a while ago (I remember the J names) They where christian and home schooled so it really didn't matter how they dresses( you know kids are cruel) . Now Normally I am against Home schooling but that is like a class room. YIKES The hair was definetly 80's

I am one of 6...so I feel like i had a big family..i cannot imagine the work that goes into 15 children...i just figured out that after baby #15, she will have been pregnant for 13 and a half years of her life!!! WOW.

The only thing i can say in defense of a large family...is that just because it is bigger, doesn't mean you don't feel special or have attention...I know a few friends who were only children or one of two that didn't get near the attention I was shown....i also had a lot of aunts/uncles who were very involved and there were always people around!!

BUT....15? I just can't fathom that. 3 teams for basketball, haha...
