OMG Random shower gifts

OK, So I know that I am supposed to be thankful for all of my shower gifts - and I am, but I really had to vent about a few really odd ball gifts.

A crystal chip and dip set - from Fourtunoff!!! How old and how many times has that regifted (the box looks used). And mind you, I don't think we registered for any chip/dip things and got 3.

A toaster/convection oven. We didn't register for one, because we already have a toaster.

And here's the best one: A knife block without any knives in it!!!

I can relate...it's terrible!!! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's not going to stop...with three weeks til the wedding we are getting more garbage gifts in the mail then ever before!!!

The Knife block is the best! I got a lot of random gifts too. One of my BM's actually got me a whole slue of random gifts. I swear, she didnt even look at my registry. She got me a bunch of stuff from Target that I didnt register for... measuring cups and other random things that I already had from living on my own for a few years. She also got me random canisters after I had already registered for a different set at a different store that someone else purchased. She had her shower this weekend and I was so tempted to get her the most random crap

ughhh this happened to us with our engagement party. I think it's so rude to regift things. I love when you can tell it's been regifted. One of my good friends gave us those little heart shaped measuring spoons that I KNOW must have been a favor for a shower or something that she went to. Like it's so obvious. She gave us that in addition to something else but come on! We also got about a million frames (all are nice and I guess we will use them), and many random platters that we didn't register for. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but isn't that the point of creating a registry? At least get a gift card or money so we can pick something out that we will want! I would never just get someone a random gift like that lol. haha sorry I am ranting hah
