ok i was starting to freak that i was gonna go over $20,000 i am watching whos wedding is it anyway that i taped last night.............their budget is $300,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The RH is over $100,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could you imagine?!?!??!?!

wow!!!! i want to be invited to that wedding!!!! thats crazy. i really think that most of that money is going to be wasted on things that dont matter. you can have a beautiful wedding for 20,000 or even 10,000. i just depend how you do it.

Wow, that's nuts! I don't think that if anyone wants to have their reception at a hall that it costs under $20,000 JUST FOR THE HALL! That's based on 200 guests at 100 dollars a head...we all know that there aren't many places that are under 100 a head and from what I read, we all seem to have AT LEAST 200 guests (some have a little less, but we haven't finalized our lists yet)!!! Weddings really are crazy. FH cracked me up when he said at first, 'So what's our wedding budget, $20,000.' I seriously laughed at him lol He can be so silly sometimes.

I don't think my $20,000 budget is silly at all. I am having my reception at a gorgeous hall and still have money left for a band and a great photographer as well as a gown and limos.

I meant silly because he thought that that would cover every single wedding and honeymoon related thing. There's no way that with over 200 guests it can be done, during the summer, on a Saturday! I know many people do it...but during off seasons, with a lot less guests, possibly weekdays and whatever. He was just clueless about wedding costs.

Also, so much power to you that you were able to keep to your budget...I won't let FH know that it IS possible though LOL
