Wow, that's nuts! I don't think that if anyone wants to have their reception at a hall that it costs under $20,000 JUST FOR THE HALL! That's based on 200 guests at 100 dollars a head...we all know that there aren't many places that are under 100 a head and from what I read, we all seem to have AT LEAST 200 guests (some have a little less, but we haven't finalized our lists yet)!!! Weddings really are crazy. FH cracked me up when he said at first, 'So what's our wedding budget, $20,000.' I seriously laughed at him lol He can be so silly sometimes.

I don't think my $20,000 budget is silly at all. I am having my reception at a gorgeous hall and still have money left for a band and a great photographer as well as a gown and limos.

Mine is going to be a little over and granted its off season but we have a ton of extras ......I think any budget is doable....nicely....just depends on what you want....!!!!

i agree, i think its SILLY (keeping watch on my trucker's mouth right now) to come out and say ANY budget is silly

Ive said it on here before but my mom knows somebody whose wedding cost 2 million dollars and within 2-3 months of marriage they got divorced

Was it a Russian lady? I saw that wedd on Platinum weddings and her wedding was like 2 mill

i just wouldn't want it. FH and i are on a $25,000 budget and even that is crazy. but luckily for us we both WANTED a small wedding so it's not difficult for us to stay within our budget with a guest list of 120 people.

but even if we did want a huge wedding and had an unlimited budget...i just wouldn't do it. i think it's a waste of money. all that money for food and you're not even going to get a chance to eat that much b/c at your wedding you're too busy to sit down and really enjoy it.

or $1500 PER CP?!?! come on, how much nicer could they be then the ones i'm getting for like $100 a piece?! mine will be beautiful...what's the sense of spending that much more?!

it's crazy.

As long as the bride and groom are happy with their day and married.....it dosnet matter what you spend...I personally dont have it ...

I saw an episode where the wedding planner's assistant was getting married and budget was CRAZY
