I was getting suspicious about my dress being that it wasnt on the Davids Bridal website or in their catalog and on the web I found all these message boards with girls trying to find this dress. I called the 800 number to ask if it was dis-continued and IT IS!!! How could they not tell me??? What were they going to do??? Give me the sample and not tell me??? I am hysterical crying at work!!! What am I going to do??? I had butterfiles in my stomach when I pictured me in that dress.

Sorry - but if this is the WORST thing that ever happened to you - you are very lucky.
I do sympathize with your frustration (and maybe even anger at Davids) but do put it in perspective.

Ok I calmed down since I first posted. I was writing that through tears because the men in the office just didnt understand. Maybe they will find one that was forgotten.

I loved that dress but you girls are right. I have time to find another one. At least now I know the style I like.

I am also a crazy over-reactor, now you all know. Thats why people always say FI is an angel for putting up with me.

What is killing me about the whole situation is that no one told you anything!!!! What were they waiting for???

Yes, the skirts are very similar! Personally I am not a big fan of the neckline on the second one. But that's just me.
David's carries another one that is similar, I believe. Or is it the same one that was discontinued?

No that is the one that replaced mine and I like it but it doesnt have the crystals on the skirt area.

I think you should be able to find a seamstress to add the crystals and it will be a one of kind dress! Good Luck!

Try Mori Lee.com. They have a few gowns that are similar to that style.

No I was going back this Saturday to buy it. The consultant assured me that it was not dis-continued.

thats very Odd the consultant said that... when iwent there they told me that today they can order the dress but they arent told in advance when its being discontinued, so if i want to order it they can order it today but cant guarantee it will be availible the next day....
