Matt and I just made an offer and they accepted. We bought a 2 bedroom co-op in Smithtown. We are NOT ready to buy a house yet- WAAYYYY too much work etc. We wanted to buy something at a great price so we still had the ability to travel and do things together w/o feeling strapped forcash all the time!!!!
I cant believe it. We just started looking Thutrsday. But thats us, when we see something we go for it. No reason to wait

Congrats. FH and I are closing on our Kew Gardens co-op in a few weeks. This is such an exciting time with the wedding and now the co-op. I wish you the best of luck!

Hey all
Just to answer some of your questions, not sure when we will move in. I know the seller is ready to move out b/c she is moving in w/ her son and his wife. We will get more details tomorrow once we get the lawyers notified etc.
I plan to wait to move in w/ him until after we are married. He will move in and live there and i will be there on wkds etc like i do now at his apt. Im just excited to see our money go towards something. We looked alot in queens which was our first choice but the prices were the smae w/ ALOT less space etc. Plus Matt and i teach out on LI so....
