We closed yesterday! It took 5 months of legal stuff with the sellers, but we did it! Now the fun begins! I'm officially going to be a regular on this board!

Re: OMG--- We own a HOUSE!
Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of homeownership
Thanks so much guys! It's in New Hyde Park, it's a 'Queens' or 'RailRoad' style house, it's like a big rectangle, not very wide, but long. It's got 2 Bedrooms upstairs, 2 full bathrooms- and FH is adding a 3rd, a large living room, an eat-in kitchen-which is a nice size, a Florida room/porch in the back, a basement and a garage. I'm definitely taking some before and after pics-- Casue the house is a total time warp to 1960! LOL

Re: OMG--- We own a HOUSE!
Is it on the south side of Jericho or on the numbered streets? I lived in NHP for 27 years. It's a great town ... you'll love it. Congratulations!
