OMG! We're going to Aruba!!!!!

our HM timeshare exchange actually came through (after of course I did all the research into a HM cruise all this past week)!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel doesnt look to be like to most luxurous of places, but my cousin actually stayed at the same place for her HM (on a trade also) and said it was nice and clean.

So our wedding is on the 2nd.... and the Aruba check-in isnt until the 8th so we decided we're gonna do a disney/mini bahamas cruise during the 2nd-8th Im def very excited about all this

yay! you are gonna laugh but we decided against the cruise also and are looking into Buciti beach in aruba..we are planning on going the end of july i think so you won't have to deal wit us there lol!

yay! you are gonna laugh but we decided against the cruise also and are looking into Buciti beach in aruba..we are planning on going the end of july i think so you won't have to deal wit us there lol!

thats my other route if plan A is just too difficult with the flights and everything... but i dunno... 2 weeks in aruba may be a bit much

well see we can do the 2 vacays bc the timeshare is essentially free.... just have to pay for food... i would love to do the bucuti but that would be nicer way to end the vacation, not begin it IMO ... ive only begun the serach for fights and im gonna need lots of 1 ways everywhere for plan A... it might end up costing a small fortune

Casa del Mar

Thats one of the places my aunt can get for us with her timeshare but, I think using her timeshare with in a 5 hr drive and then going away later is what will work out for us money wise.

We stayed at the Casa Del Mar in November. It's actually quite nice. Our bathroom had a jacuzzi and a separate shower. The rooms were very nice. I actually have pictures of our room if you want me to forum mail them to you. Do you know if you are staying on the beach side or across the street not on the beach.

The pool was very nice, and the bar right on the beach was great. The best thing is the beach. It's secluded away from the high rise hotels and the beach is sooooo clean, and crystal clean water. You also have access to the bar and pool at the Aruba Beach Club right next door which is just as great. There bar is actually better especially in the middle of the day you can get better lunch food. The resteraunt at the pool at The Casa Del Mar is quite expensive, not snack foods, go next door for burgers and chicken fingers and stuff like that, etc.. but the Casa Del Mar is actually beautiful and you'll love it. It is really clean and the staff is amazing.

We actually have the 1 bedroom thats across the st.... i heard those really arent as nice as the 2 bedrooms on the beach but i mean i requested lowest for a 1 bedrom bc we didnt need the extra room .... i def did hear that the beach is nice though.... thanks for all the info though...
