FH is currently at my FMIL's house kindly letting her know that we will NOT be having the ceremony in church.
I hope he's got his running shoes on!!

All he said was that she kept saying over and over again....no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you HAVE to get married in church. no, no, no, no, no, no call your sisters!
I'm laughing now.....but tomorrow it'll be a whole different story. I'm going to need many tomorrow.........

Yes. Every other place I looked at charged for the ceremony. I just checked my contract to make sure I wasn't mistaken though (wouldn't be the first time lol) and I'm not.

Well...when we go to sign the contract i'm gonna ask either for the ceremony to be free... or the martini bar. They are both $500.

Don't forget that I'm off season and a Friday. They might give a little extra here and there.
But you should definitely try! Past brides have told me to try and negotiate everything and if they say no, they say no.
