I voted for 3-4 and I feel like that isnt enough! I am hoping that goes up when we get into our house... next week

Wow! Lucky girl!!

I remember those days. Those were the days before either of us was in school. Even though I'm done, DH still has class 3 nights a week for 2 more yrs!

it depends on the week he had, i'm usually pretty good with weekends, but there are times i'm just burned out

trust me any complaints about frequency and performance are blows to the ego

unfortunately its true, i had to learn this the hard way

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

I have a little bit of a different take on this.

Since we are married, yes the sex life has decreased a little (some weeks it's once - some weeks its 5 times...it all depends) BUT our conversations and alone time have become a lot more intimate.

We are both so busy that sometimes at night we only have a half hour together - and when we aren't 'in the mood' we spend time talking about things like our day, the house, when we want to have kids, our families, bills, etc... Those conversations do bring us closer as a couple and are just as important as sex...sometimes more important.

But I have to admit - if we go 5 days without it - we both joke - and take care of that immediately...we find time for everything else - why not this - it's just as important!!

Voted 1-2 times per week. Both very busy and very tired. I really do think it will change once we have our own place though. I hope so anyway!

That's one of the first things you have to do !
and run through all the rooms naked.

My husband's aunt actually told me that second part . . .

We're never consistent enough to really give an average.
It has been increasing post-wedding though. . .

Once a week here!! With 2 kids and both of us working full time jobs, we are pretty tired by the end of the night.

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

I am shocked by this..

We are in the 5-6x's as an average and that's after two years of marriage.

We actually lessened up when we were TTC in hopes of saving up soliders for my good days.

Don't get your hopes up too high!!

Aww come on ... even for the first few months of living together?

I have to agree, me and FH are in the first few months of living together....blah!

Alright now you are just making me very sad ... I was actually looking forward to candles and romance ... which has been kind of hard since we both live with our parents right now!

No need to be sad---the candles and the romance DO happen...it's just not every single night, or even every other night. I voted for 1-2/wk, but sometimes it's three or four times a MONTH!!! Between my three jobs, full-time school, and him working full time (both of us on night schedules--), it can be very difficult for us to just spontaneously 'do the deed'.....we've been in our house for 6 1/2 months now and have only christened four rooms (office, living, bed, and kitchen)--still missing guest rooms, dining room and back yard!!

We're not married yet, but have lived together for three years......it's not horrible, but it's also not realistic to think you'll have these fabulous nights together every single night. But, when we do break out the candles, etc.....it makes for a wonderful night together. You will have plenty of those nights!! Trust me. I'll tell ya---I'm SOOO looking forward to the honeymoon....our vacations are THE BEST!! No work, no school...only relaxation and playtime. I think we'll break records come honeymoon time!!

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

SEX??? I agree... what's that? My DH works 2 jobs and by the time he comes home at night I'm exhausted from the baby and working. So, that leaves it to about 2 times a month!!! I know terrible, but what can you do! It changed after marriage, but then it really changed after the baby!

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

Pre-wedding I was a born again 'virgin'...

honeymoon, well, He was ALIVE and ready to go at a moments notice! I couldn't believe that once we were out of the daily routine of work, bills, wedding planning he remembered what SEX was!! I had to start running away from him and saying NO, HAHA....it was funny!! I think we missed one day in 2 weeks because I wasn't feeling well, and then there were the 2x a day...well, guess what, we are home now amongst the bills, the closing of the house and work and zilch--....but you know what, NOW I know it isn't me, which I thought it was....and the time we spend together is the best, I am SO HAPPY, and I LOVE him, so it is not an issue right now. And I too have to stop nagging about it--for now (next week might be a different story

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

Wow so many responses!! Me and DH have lived together for 3 years now and it definetly decreased after we moved in together...but i am really worried when we have kids!!!!

Most of my friends are in the same boat as me and DH......its tough when you both work and have other things to do at night....usuallywhen i hit the bed i am looking to hit the bed.

I want to make a conscience effort to increase it though!!
