Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

I used to tease FH and tell him I wasn't going to give it up for the last 3 months before we got married - uhhhh I think the jokes on me

I think between trying to work on the house and plan a wedding we are both exhausted!!!

I hope things change when we free up some time

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

If it gets too long in between us doing it I drag DH into the bedroom and say 'Ok, I've waited long enough! Lets go.' The weird part is its usually him who can wait to have it, not me.

Noooo , don't be sad! I think given your circumstances, it will definitely 'improve' once you two are living together and on your own..living with your folks definitely hinders the 'how often' in a relationship.. it is bound to be very exciting and romantic when you are living together and married.

Don't let us old married or living together folks let you think otherwise

Awww, thanks. Poor FH ... he's really hoping he'll see some sort of regular action after January 7th.

You know, the funny thing is, he's the one who's always tired! I thought after we were married it was going to be like ripping our clothes off when he walks in the door! But, I think we're plateau-ing now...

Don't mistake my words ... I'm not saying that it has to be passionate/crazy every night ... but if you look at the poll, so many hardly do it once per week, some do it less than that, and look how many responded they NEVER do it ... that is sooo scary ...
I know there are a ton of ways to be intimate/close ... but I thought the 'norm', especially for newlyweds would be in the 3-6 per week range ... the answers are just very surprising!

And we all have our cycles .. I think it's normal to go up and down (no pun intended) in frequency but after we move in together we better have a bit more action than right now!

I just got back to this one. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you freak out! Everyone is different and if you guys both live at home now and then are moving in together, you'll DEFINITELY have more! We both moved in together after living in our own apartments for years so we had that luxury back then.

Just make sure sex is a big part of your routine as a couple when you first move in together, that way it'll hopefully stay that way for a while.

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

Wow! What a poll!! This is great! Well me being the nympho that I was I always thought it very important to have that HOT lustful action on a regular basis, BUT, Nowadays, to be honest it's once-twice a week! to my surprise. You have to be realistic and I think a lot of us will understand, life sometimes gets too hectic and I know I'm dead tired at night and with running around on weekends it can get exhausting. It's something that I want us to find more time with and I know hubby feels the same, but we don't nag each other about it because this is life and we have to focus on the things that we need to do. But it's important to have that physical expression of love, so I hope we all find the time and energy to enjoy this part of marriage.

Okay, I had to bump this post to tell Don he was TOTALLY wrong. A little complaining goes a LONG way

Re: On Avg how many times a week to you and DH/FH do the deed

M-F is pretty much out of the question for us. I get home at 8PM and we're both out the door by 6:20AM. When I get home at night we have dinner together then read or watch tv and fall asleep. We're exhausted!

The weekends begin with chores: cleaning, laundry, bills, shopping. At some point we 'make time for each other'.

I think it doesn't matter how often you do it, as long as it is ok with both of you.
