On your wedding day...

Original post by yelley77

What would be the one thing that would ruin it for you? I was just looking on another board and a bride was upset about a few things at her wedding and I started to think about what would upset me at my wedding...

The absolute truth is, I don't think anything would RUIN my day. So long as FH and I are there I will be smiling all day! The only thing that would upset me was if a vendor didn't show up, but with who we've booked so far, I don't have any worries...

How about you ladies?

You know what would be one thing that would get me upset? If someone like the best man got sh*tfaced and threw up on my dress. I think I'd just go home!

If one of the GM did that to me he's be swimming with the fish

If my ex or his ex showed up at our church, drunk, screaming 'YOU CHEATING BASTARDS'

Other than that, I'm pretty easy.

crashing...mine is my ex doing something like that but unfortunatly he will be invited I hope he doesnt show because he said a few years ago if i married someone else he wouldnt go so god willing he will not show up I hate him...

For me i think it would just be if my vendors were late or didn't show up. I don't want any added stress.. but i think i'll be so wrapped up in the day that i'll just be happy we finally pulled it off!!!

Does anyone watch Whose Wedding is it Anyway??? Well a couple requested that there be no children at the reception and so they had their planner call the guests and tell them...and people actually got mad and said they wouldnt be attending

power went out at JT at my FSIL's wedding - it was for only about a minute - but everything went out, the lights, the DJ, everything! something with all the power it popped the circuit or something like that.....the bongo guy who was with the DJ just kept on playing the drums - everyone was out on the dance floor and thought that it was supposed to happen....it actually made the party - everybody thought it happened on purpose :) it really made the party!

I thought of one thing but I'm scared to write it, as if it wiill jinx it!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.

I understand that when you plan such a big event and put so much time, energy, effort and money into something, you want it to go perfect, however, is it worth being upset on your wedding day? I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just asking

WHat if your RH lost electricity in the middle of your reception?

This happened this past weekend at VYC. My sister is an assistant chef there and the other sister is a waitress. They said 105 business and homes around their lost some electricity. The bands were able to play and stuff but no AC. SO they bought huge fans and eventually they got the AC on by the end of the cocktail hour...

but i know that would have stunk...but thankfully VYC was thinking and got those fans. But they cant really be to blame since 105 other resturants and homes had little or no electricity...
