Re: Once and for all..
Why is it that you think people don't like you? If you heard something maybe you should FM that person and confront them. I would. Sometimes making it public like this only leads to more gossip behind your back. Just my honest opinion.

Re: Once and for all..
This is the story..
I was told in an FM that ALOT of girls complain about me to SOMEONE...
Why not tell the girls to tell me directly..... If they have so much to say!!!

Re: Once and for all..
its been my experience that usually the people who tell you people are talking about you are the ones who do the most talking.. Besides, its kind of high school stuff isnt it.. ? We are all adults on this site. True its natural for people not to like one another, but do people have to be so sneaky, 'oh so and so said this, and so and so said that..' those are the people to watch out for!

Re: Once and for all..
Theresa, I agree with you
but, think of it this way...
There's no way anyone can control what goes on or is said behind their back. If someone does not have the decency/cujones to tell you something to your face, it's not worth thinking about. Why bother? There are more important things to worry about in the world today...
Right?

Re: Once and for all..
take this as a lesson that my hubby taught me, he who gossips with you, will gossip about you. It takes 2 hands to clap.

Re: Once and for all..
So there is one girl who has told you that she gets e-mails about you from others? If this girl is willing to tell you others are talking about you then she should tell you who they are. If she isn’t willing to do this then she should stay out of it. I agree, they should say things directly to you but this girl is just starting problems.

Re: Once and for all..
shamma: ok so it takes 2 hands to clap but what if you only have one hand???
i have a friend who is deaf and they clap differently...
i also have a friend who i went to college with who was born with no arms. she has hands and a little bit of a shoulder, but no arms...how does she clap..
so i dont think your theory of it takes 2 hands to clap really works

Re: Once and for all..
shamma if a friend tells someone something they heard or someone told them doesnt mean they are gossipying though if they are your friend

Re: Once and for all..
Like lying, there is no grey area, so is gossiping. I do not care what form it comes in, I do not like it. No excuses allowed. If you do not have anything good to say, don't say anything at all.

Re: Once and for all..
IF someone tells someone else something they said, arent they infact doing the same thing that person was? seems to me neither one is trust worthy!

Re: Once and for all..
true but I can think of at least three situations too long to type here where I told someone somthing someone said and I personally never said anything bad about the person
it happens
suzanne-- not if you tell the person what you heard and tell them you dont know if its true or not
