We went to 3 and picked the last one. We just knew it was the one for us.

1 - Bourne was the only venue on LI we were interested in. We had appointments in Westchester, Brooklyn and NYC - which we cancelled after going to the Bourne.

We went to 3 places. The hall that I chose was the second one we visited. We went back the next day and put down a deposit.

Re: One more reception question
I went to 1 and booked on the spot, there are 6 of us kids and 4 just all got married recently 2 at fox hollow , 1 at north ritz club and the other at jericho terrace all nice places and I wanted something different and we fell in love with the westbury manor mansion charm. plus we knew being a scotto bro the food is amazing. . Ive been to a wedding at the sandcastle recently and the milleridge so being at all these wedding before getting engaged gave me a feel of what I wanted and didnt want so I didnt waste my time going from hall to hall. I also did a ton of research on the computer and made phone calls.
