so now i know that its coming in the next couple of months and the only place it could be is at my mom's house because she has a huge backyard!

I guess they didn't realize it was a surprise unless the invitation specifically states it will be a surprise. sometimes people just don't know any better. Sorry that your surprise was ruined, but at least now you can look forward to it!

did it say surprise on the invitation? so many people know about their showers these days that I think unless the invite says it's a surprise people take for granted that you know about it.
i know about mine, but i wish i didn't b/c my mom is literally telling me EVERYTHING that they are planning and I'm like STOP!

that's what i was thinking..i actually had to remind my sister to write that on my invites! And she was like, 'oh wow...good thing you said that otherwise I wouldnt have thought to write that!' SOmetimes ppl dont write it on the invite b/c they assume ppl will know it's a surprise...but this day and age, it isnt always a surpruse, lol!
Dont worry though, like the other girls said, i'm sure you knew your shower would e coming up in the next few months, and no matter what you will still be surprised! I had ideas my shower was coming, and i was pretty on target with it all, but i was still so surprised when i saw how many freakin ppl were there and how beautiful everything was! You will be surprised too, even if its not about the date or place!

also, look at it this way...at least now you know they have the ball running and they are on top of things, lol.
with my shower the whole time i kept asking FH....'do you think they sent the invites yet? 'DId they pick a place?' etc, etc.....i wanted to make sure it was planned in enough advance, lol. you are lucky you didnt have to remind anyone!

i dont know if they put it on thie invite bc I havent seen it ....but still.. with any showers i wnet to unless i knew they werent a surprise i would never say anything to that person
