only 26 women are invited to my shower

does that seem low? I have a guest list about 102 but I'm not inviting co-workers to the shower. I feel llike a loser with no friends. I haven't spoke to my mom in 10 years so no one on her side is invited

it doesn't matter how big or small, just that the people who you want there are invited

You are having the people you care about the most there. It will be an event were you can talk to everyone and spend time with them. Thats what a bridal shower should be!

i am in the same situation!! and yes also at times have felt looserish when people ask how many ppl are gonna be invited, but thing with me is i dont have any family ( only about 10 family members all together will be at the wedding) so basically all the women at the shower are friends too. but dont worry because honestly a lot of people have large families, etc, and also inviting co-workers like you said so thats why its so large.

my guest list for the shower is only 30 and prob only 23 or 24 will show

i will come to yours if you like and you come to mine

my sil had just her bp a couple of her friends and her mom.. so that was a totaly of 12 people. we had a blast and she wanted it veryy small. we all did some scrapbooking over lunch on the rooftop of her residence and had diff flavored mojitos. then we all went inside to open gifts and have cake.

are u having a bach party?? if u are... maybe u should take advantage and have ur bach party that night. since every1 will be together anyway.

I think thats a perfect number.... not too big. I did a smaller guest list on purpose because I only want people there who care about me! Did you include all the or most women attending your wedding? You should def. invite all or most women attending your wedding.

That is fine I dont have a big famil on my side Fh extened family is all upstate so I dont see a lot of them coming,lt will not be more then 30 people

I'm having that amount too. I prefer that to a bigger shower. I'm only inviting the women in my family, the women in FH's family and my friends. We have small families..especially FH.. He only has about 4 female family members who are adults.

It doesn't matter how many ppl you have, it matters who you have. They're all the people you care about and that's all that matters.

No worries!!! I think it will be nice to have a small intimate group. The people you would really want will all be there and you will get the chance to talk to everyone!!! Don't worry about the numbers, just enjoy the faces you will be surrounded by!!!

I actually requested a small shower b/c I find the very large ones are a 'come bring a present and don't get to speak to me' party. I want a chance to at least be able to interact with my guests. I've been to showers where the bride barely spoke to me and it *****.

I'm the same way. I literally have 4 people in my family. FH has about 8. We have really small families so almost everyone invited to our wedding is friends. I think I will about 20 women at my shower. I know it will be amazing because my sister is throwing it!

Dont feel like a loser! I have been to many showers where the bride doesnt know 70% of the people there because they are distant relatives and friends of their mothers. I know me personally I rather have a small group then tons of people that I dont know.

it shouldn't matter the number. As long as your happy that these people will be there and they are important people in your life it shouldn't matter.

my cousin had her shower and literally had about 25 people and it was great everyone got to know each other and talked it was crazy and big and loud...

im inviting 42 and some wont come so ill prob end up with around 35
