ONLY ME!!!!

seriously this would only happen to me. . I was taking off my sneakers and somehow caught my nail which bent ALL THE WAY back. . now I think it's going to fall off and it is, yes that's right brides to be MY RING FINGER.. I showed FH my finger and he was the one who pointed it out. . I am going to be the only bride who has NO pics of her ring finger b/c there is NO NAIL THERE. . okay. . don't fall off, don't fall off. can a whole nail grow back in 44 days. . ok this is so ridic I can only post here

oh my goodness! OUCH! i'm so sorry that happened! well just be really careful with it. maybe it won't fall off?? i don't know how fast a nail grows back though, BUT don't worry, i'm sure there are ways to photograph your hands/etc without showing the nail. let the photog worry about it. but yeah, that does s u k!

ouch ouch ouch.....eeeeekkk sorry to hear that hun....that must hurt. My nails never bend that bad but they do break low. I'm not an expert on nails, but try home remedy treatments so that it grows or gets stronger...like rubbing garlic or try polishing with nailtek. You can always silk wrap it the day off...no one will notice

oh no!! it takes quite a bit for a nail to fall off--is the nail bruised?

andddd my nail fell off last year, but it literally took around 2-3 months for it to actually fall off..but i completely shut it at full force in my car door and they then had to drain it..it was gross lol

it'll be ok!!

So sorry I'm sure there are ways to photograph you ring finger while concealing the nail.....maybe grasping your Bok, FH holding your hand.

Oh dear ... that $ucks but also ... is just a bride's luck! I know I have broken my ring finger three times in the past ... and I ALMOST broke it AGAIN on Wednesday ... JUST MY LUCK! So I feel your pain girl ... I think you'll be fine in time for the wedding, but like a pp said, if not, your photog will be creative and find ways to get those ring pictures

Garlic? does that really work how cool? and okay all the way back might be an exaggeration but the break line is well into the nail bed!

OH NO!!! I'm sooo sorry to hear this.

It might not fall off. Is it all black? If it's black then it might fall off. I've seen this before - it's usually painful and not so pretty. Good Luck! I sorry!

I use NailTiques for nail growth and it REALLY does work. I hope it grows back quickly! If not, no worries! maybe a nail tech can glue a tip on, temporarily?

OMG that must have hurt! Im so sorry.. I hate breaking nails... its like the worst for me!!! Dont worry... honestly, you can just have the nail salon wrap it instead so that it looks nice... by June some of it will have grown back enough for them to put something fake ontop of it!!!

it will substantially heal by then, and you can get a tip put on only that nail if need be.

You could always use your right hand to model the ring in the pics and have the photog. flip the image...

Ahhhhhhhhhh I hate nails!!!! I don't think it will fall off from that, usually it takes a lot more trauma. Just be very careful to protect it the next few days, and maybe see a dr. to make sure.

the same exact thing happened to me. Make sure it doesnt get infected. My nail took 3 months to come in...i had no nail at all. I dont want to scare you. Maybe it wont fall off? Hopefully not hun. Take biotin. Its good for your hair and nails!! It will make them grow!!
