I'm totally at a loss as to what to put in my OOT baskets.
I have either two or four friends at a hotel but I don't know which one, they are staying near another friend who's hosting the rest of our OOT friends. Do I still bring something there?
The only people staying at my recommemded hotel are my grandparents and an aunt and uncle. All of them are health nuts, so all the junk food type items are out. They eat weird things, but I'm figuring maybe granola bars, trail mix, and water. They won't be big partiers, so advil's not that appropriate. All are former LI'ers so they don't need local info. I don't know what else to include, but I don't want to give a basket with just three things!

Re: OOT Basket Help
Hmmm that's a hard one. . maybe you could put something in like salts for a foot soak (in case they dance the night away), a few pieces of fresh fruit (if they are health nuts they will prob appreciate this) water, starbucks/dunkin donuts gift card (if they like coffee), I think just to have a few things is fine, you could always throw in a magazine or something too. . like new york, new yorker etc. .

Re: OOT Basket Help
Thanks ladies. I'm definitely going to do fresh fruit and a starbucks card (there's one next to the hotel). I also like the tums idea and maybe the morning's Newsday since they used to live on the Island and it might be a bit nostalgic (as long as the news that day isn't too depressing!)
