Nope. I went back and forth with that but my RD is on a tuesday and we all have to go to work the next day so I decided that I am paying for enough and if they want a drink they can pay for it.

We are.
I had some reservations, as I don't want everybody being hung over for our wedding but FH convinced me that we couldn't really control that anyway....so we are doing it and I hope that people take it easy!

No we didn't. I think we just had wine/beer.
Open bar would have been to much for us the night before the wedding. Nobody really drank at the RD anyway.

People will drink either way in my opinion they will just pay themselve which I think I might feel wierd about afterwards but it is killing me to pay an additional $16.00 pp . Is that even a good price , top shelf ?

We are. We opted not to do beer & wine for the additional price pp. We didn't want to limit the selection since most of our RH guests are from OOT. We are hoping it will come out to be about the same.

we paid by the drink; it was cheaper than paying the extra $15 pp because people really didn't drink that much.
a lot of times it works out cheaper this way. so i guess it was open bar in that sense; DH and I just ran a tab for the drinks that we paid for at the end.

my sister did for hers and it was nice, but no one was like drinking a ton- just a couple of drinks. We just had beer, wine, and soda and it was fine.
