What a joke!! We are looking to make a step UP.....and we did not go in one single house. They were either tiny, on a busy street, on a tiny lot or just a mess. And they were all OVER 500K. HELP!!!!!!!!

Would you consider Islandia? That is where we live, it's convenient to the lIE, decent neighborhood. Schools are not great but we are planning to stay here until our first is about 5. You could buy a house here that needs work for around 250 we bought ours for 287,000 and it's probably worth about 350 now

How much are you looking to spend? Danielle and I went looking with our friends this weekend. We saw houses from $389k to $499k. Two were really nice. One was $469k and it was in Levittown off of N Jerusalem ave and the other was also in Levittown.....not sure where it was though. I will look online. Scott
