opinion on sneakers

Hey girlies....I'm really leaning towards sneakers (Adidas shelltops) for the wedding (personal meaning).....I'm looking for those of you who wore sneaks the whole time and/or changed into them......

Thanks!

Re: opinion on sneakers

I wore decorated wedding sneakers. I put them on after our first dance. If I didn't show people, nobody would've even know that I had them on. My dress was very poofy.

I think it is agreat idea. Wedding shoes are not going to be comfortable all night. I plan on wearing flip flops at my wedding. Go for it!!

I am not a big fan of sneakers and a wedding dress, but if it has meaning to you that is all that matters! I definitely like the idea of Adidas shelltops better than Keds, especially the beaded Keds. I will probably get white isotoners and change into them only in case of emergency. I am hoping to last in my shoes all night.
I absolutely detest when Brides go barefoot!! (JMO).

I'm looking for a pair of pink ballerina slippers.. NICE ones though, not terry-cloth slip on look alikes. I tried decorating sneakers first but I was so stressed I messed up two pairs and gave up! They are comfy though, and no one will notice

I like the ballet slipper idea too. Sneakers at a wedding is strange to me (if I'd be upset if my guests wore them - I don't think I should do it even if you really can't see them. I also think they are strange to dance in - they stick to the floor.
Anyway - the most important thing is that we are all comfortable. If sneakers are the way to do it - go for it

for comfort- i just bought ( i think they are known as hindu slippers), they are mesh on top and beaded. anyway, they are only $3 and i am going to change into them at a black tie affair i have to go to. they come in all colors- even white. so that might be an idea becasue they are dressy, cheap, and comfortable.
