opinion please

hi guys, need a guys opinion - what do you think of personalized beer huggies - Deborah and Jonathan
Tied the Knot, October 12, 2002 with a little (non-frilly) picture of a knot on them. They are neoprene, so not that really cheesy foam like the give away ones are at bars. They wouldn't be on the tables or anything, but rather in a big basket for people to grab one on their way out the door. Cheesy or cool?

That's a tuff one... On one hand, they sound like a great practical favor; just about everyone uses 'em, and the neoprene is ALOT better than the foam. On the other hand, as a guy, I don't know if I would want to put my beer in a wedding cozy (or any cozy for that matter), but that's just me. I would probably display it somewhere near drinks, so guests could see it and ask about 'my friend's wedding'. I think it's a great idea though, I haven't heard of that one before.

hey thanks, and thanks for knowing about the neoprene. I think I'm going to go for it, after a sleepless night thinking about it (yes, we obsess over the stupidest things!) I definitely made it not girlie, the only design on there is a small knot. Hopefully I don't regret it! I think I want to go into business with these things, the bottle ones are like $2.75, and they are sold for like $10.00! ()the can ones were 1.75). thanks again!

are those gonna be your favors? i think its a cool idea. i agree, its practical too. i'm a fan of the coozys. its different which is cool, and i think people would use em. i think this would be the first wedding favor in history where the guy would like it more than the girl.

They're those things you put a drink in to keep it cold. I think you usually see them made of a foam material. I wasn't really sure what neoprene is.

thanks matt hos! Yes, coozys are those beer things to keep your beer cold. They are not really favors, my favors are little magnets all wrapped fancy and on the tables, these are just going to be in a basket to be taken on the way out the door (on the way to the bar, lol) - the foam ones are cheapy looking, Neoprene is the stuff that wet suits are made out of. If you've ever seen a bottle 'coozy' - the ones that have the little zipper on it that the bottle fits in, those are usually made of neoprene. They can collapse flat, and I they are a lot nicer than the foam ones. When they come in, I'll post a pic. Thank for the opinions!

I know this is a bit late, but one of my friends went to a wedding last month and received this as a giveaway or something and loved it!! He even brought it to a BBQ next day.

thanks! better to get a late positive response!! I already ordered them, and girls on the brides board kept posting how cheesy they were, I had to delete the post bc I was getting upset!! thanks for posting!!

Sorry - didn't mean to make you upset, but thought you asked for opinions on them. In the end, you should do what you want, regardless of what anyone thinks! I'm all for being a little different, especially at weddings!!

Coozies! Why didn't I think of that?! Great idea! I think they will work out well for both guys and gals. Good luck with them.

I think its a great idea, I was thinking of putting them in my goodie bags for the hotel, where are you getting them from that personalize them, if you dont mind me asking. thanks

I got them from www.moresales.com. they were 1.75 each, but that's bc I ordered 200, they are more if you order less. I actually just got them today, and they are totally classy and awesome!! I am so psyched!!

I hope you post a picture! Hubby and I wanted to do that, but he did not want our names and the date so we tried to come up with a good saying or toast, and just couldn't think of anything we wanted, so we went with something else - I still think it's a great idea and some day I'll surprise him with his own personalized Koozies.

jpsgirl... GREAT IDEA!!! My DH is a HUGE fan of coozies when we are on vacation or at the house!! He would have loved to do that for our wedding!! I think I will do that as a favor for his birthday party next year. (Hope ya don't mind me biting your idea )But it is a great 1!!!!!!Everyone will love it I'm sure!! I know we would!

hey everyone I am back from my wedding! I plan on posting a pic of my coozies whenever I am not lazy, but just wanted to let you know that they were a huge hit! everyone loved them and is still talking about them - they are very cool and not cheesy looking at all!
